There are a lot of signs that indicate pregnancy, and a lot of them can be seen very early – even within just a few weeks.

But before you continue reading our list of the  10 Earliest Signs of Pregnancy, it is very important that you keep these things in mind:

1. More Frequent Urination

One of the very earliest signs of pregnancy is more frequent urination. The more frequent urination happens due to the swelling of the uterus over the bladder.

2. Elevated Body Temperature

Another early sign of pregnancy is an increased body temperature at ovulation. If you chart your temperature – it will continue staying in the high range because of the progesterone running through your body.

3. Fatigue

Because of Hormones running rampant during pregnancy lack of energy is typical sign of pregnancy. Especially for a first time mom pregnancy can be very exhausting.

4. Breast and nipple changes.

During the early stages of pregnancy you will notice some changes around breasts and nipples. You will experience blue veins running across the breast, breast tenderness and darkening of the areolas (the area around the nipples).

5. Cramping

As a result of the contracting uterus around the time of the menstrual period cramps can be triggered by exercise, moving around and orgasms.

6. Missing a Menstrual Period

One of the most obvious early signs of pregnancy is missing periods.

However, you should notice that you can miss a period for other reasons than pregnancy – e.g. stress, hormone changes as reactions to medications, illness and more.

7. Morning sickness/Nausea

The hormone changes caused by the pregnancy can cause morning sickness with or without vomiting. The Morning Sickness can occur even before you know that you are pregnant.

8. Constipation

Your bowels may be changing in the early pregnancy. Due to changing hormones the intestines may relax and function less.

9. Light Spotting

After conceiving, spotting can occur when implantation occurs before your menstrual period should begin.

10. Food cravings

During pregnancy, sometimes weird little food cravings will appear right away.
